LATINO Magazine presented a GUSTO event recently in Des Moines, Iowa.GUSTO is a series of networking events sponsored by the American Egg Board (AEB), Barilla, and others to celebrate the diversity of Latino culture through its cuisine. Nonprofit partners included Al Exito, Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Latina Leadership Institute.

This GUSTO event took place in the Downtown Marriott just before Des Moines’ annual Winefest event. Guests feasted on Barilla’s pasta bar featuring its Latino-based recipes, as well as flan and dulce de tres leches courtesy of the AEB. Speakers included Anne Alonzo, President of AEB, and Talita Erickson, General Counsel of Barilla America.
